Is SCULPTRA a filler?
Sculptra is a filling agent that differs from conventional fillers in its composition and mode of action. Liquid, based on Poly-L lactic acid, it is injected in the same way in the subcutaneous or deep region. It is injected into the cheeks, jaws and wrinkles of the lower part of the face. It is not injected into the lips. Unlike Hyaluronic Acid, its effect is not immediate.

Because SCULPTRA creates an inflammatory reaction in deep tissues, it generates collagen production over weeks. Over the weeks, your skin will produce natural hyaluronic acid.
SCULPTRA will increase hydration, creating a deep fill that will last much longer than traditional fillers.
What can I expect with SCULPTRA?
This type of treatment offers a beautiful, natural result over the long term, and can be combined in the same session with fillers and Botox, for an immediate result that will last over time.
SCULPTRA alone will not produce immediate results; its action will start to appear after 3 to 4 weeks, and will then last for 8 to 12 months.
